Electronic Vibration Switch

The Electronic Vibration Switch is a solid-state protection device that monitors machine vibration continuously and trips an alarm, or shuts the machine down, once vibration crosses a set threshold - catching faults like worn bearings, misalignment, imbalance and looseness before they cause a breakdown.

The setpoint is field adjustable, with a built-in time delay circuit so momentary spikes don't cause nuisance trips. It senses vibration through a full 360 degree angle, so mounting orientation doesn't affect its response.

Available with or without a digital display, and with relay or 4-20 mA output for direct integration with a PLC or DCS. Offered in both Weatherproof and Flameproof construction, with flameproof certification available as required - Gas Group IIA/IIB, IIC and ATEX.
